Magic Game Day Top 8 Decklists and Results2011 October 31 Magic Game Day: Innistrad Edition came to Pastimes yesterday, and with it a slew of new decks. The additional prize for playing a tribal deck brought out some new designs, including one very different take on mono-red that made Top 8. In the end, it was a tribal deck that won it all. 10/22/11 Magic Pro Tour Qualifier MOVED TO NEW LOCATION2011 October 19 Due to rumors of HUGE attendances at this round of PTQs all over the country, we have made a last minute decision to move the PTQ out of the store and into a large venue. Maybe it is the format - Sealed Innistrad, a set everyone seems to love, the fact that you can show up with NO cards and win a trip to the Pro Tour in HAWAII! As always, there will side events available at the PTQ: booster drafts, win-a-box and Commander. |
Indiana State Championship - Winner and results2011 October 16 Yesterday's Indiana state championship brought out 129 players to fight for the title of state champ. MTG Grudge Match - Modern - *UPDATED* Top 8 Decklists2011 October 06 The Grudge Match went down in Philly this past weekend. With a newly revised banned list, the Modern format was a blank slate, with many decks having to be completely reevaluated, and opening the door for new archetypes. YuGiOh Regionals will occur in Boston2011 August 26 We are aware that the weather in the Boston area is supposed to turn ugly later this weekend, but forecasts are showing that things should be wet but passable on Saturday. Based on this our plan is to keep the YGO Regional as scheduled. You should make your own plans accordingly and go out when and where you feel safe. We do not expect this will be the last Regional in the area for you to qualify at, so please take that into consideration when you are deciding to drive. Again, travel at your own risk - but we think all will be ok. |
Midwest Masters Series Badge Pickup at GenCon2011 August 01 Several players who made Top 8 of the Midwest Masters Series Regional Qualifiers in Pittsburgh, Detroit, and Columbus have still not received their GenCon badges. These players will be able to obtain their badge at GenCon. If you made Top 8 at one of these events and have still not obtained your badge, you may pick one up at the US Nationals Registration and Badge Pickup line near the main GenCon Registration line. |
