EDH League - September 20102010 August 29 Starting Wednesday, September 1st, Pastimes will be hosting EDH League every Wednesday! EDH (Elder Dragon Highlander) is a fun, casual format; and League play allows us to run events which really encourage the sort of laid-back entertaining play style people associate with EDH. Participating in the League is simple! Just pay $5, and you can play every Wednesday that month! You can join at any time, so late comers are always welcome! Can't be here at 6 pm, just show up later! We'll still be playing, and you can jump right in the next game. |
GenCon Vintage Championships Top 8 and Decklists2010 August 11 Every year, the Vintage Championships at GenCon draws in players from across the Vintage community to compete for one of the format's top prizes. This year the Vintage Championship Trophy was an original painting of an alternate art Mox Sapphire by Volkan Baga! Other top finishers received rare foreign packs of Legends, Portal Three Kingdoms, and Revised! After it all, Owen Turtenwald walked away with the Mox as the 2010 Vintage CHampion. GenCon Block Championships Top 8 and Decklists2010 August 11 The 2010 Block Championships were held this past weekend at GenCon in Indianapolis. 120 players competed for foil sets and the title of 2010 Block Constructed Champion. GenCon Legacy Championships Decklists and Results2010 August 09 Legacy players converge at GenCon every year for the Legacy Championship. The winner receives a playset of dual lands, a prize that seems better and better every year. Pittsburgh MMS Top 82010 July 22 This past weekend was the final Midwest Masters Series Open. 8 more players fought their way through 7 rounds of swiss to claim an invite to the $10,000 Championship! For those hoping to make the big event, you still have one last chance! There are two Last Chance Qualifiers scheduled for GenCon on August 5th and 6th. The top 4 players at each event will get the last few invites to the big event. Congratulations to those who qualified this past weekend! St Louis MMS Top 8 Decklists!!!2010 May 10 The St Louis Midwest Masters Series Open was this past weekend! Top 8 featured a diverse collection of decks, with only one Jund and one U/W making the cut. Bant saw a lot of success, with one Bant and 2 Mythic Conscription decks making Top 8. The surprise of the day was Naya Allies, which made it to Top 4 before all remaining players agreed to a split.
