Main Event

 

GenCon Championship

32 players will qualify throughout the weekend, then it all comes down to this! It's a single-elimination draft showdown for HUGE prizes!

Registration: 8:00 a.m.

Start Time: 9:00 a.m.

Entrance fee: Invite Only!

Format: Limited - Booster Draft

Notes: Players receive 3 packs of Magic 2013.

Format Description: Main decks must contain a minimum of forty cards. There is no maximum deck size. All cards a player received but is not using in his or her main deck become that player's sideboard.

Players are not restricted to four of any one card in Limited tournament play.

Any drafted or opened cards not used in a player's Limited deck function as his or her sideboard. The sideboard may not be kept where it could be confused or switched with other cards.

Prizes: The winner will be crowned 2012 GenCon Champion and receive a HUGE prize package including: a GenCon VIG package for 2013 ($500 value!), GenCon Championship trophy, hotel for GenCon 2013, FREE Magic events at GenCon 2013, and other special benefits at next year's GenCon!
